ICE- & SNOW MELTING

Based on our philosophy of improving the physical environment and people’s comfort, we have developed a simple, easily operated snow and ice melting system that allows the beauty of winter to be enjoyed – without the inconvenience of impassable driveways and car parks, frozen pipes and
falling icicles.

Ground, roofs, gutters and downpipes applications
OJ has developed our ETO2 controller for ground snow melting applications. Using readings from temperature and moisture sensors, the controller ensures economical control of snow melting systems for walkways, steps, parking and similar public areas.

For snow and ice melting on roofs and gutters, OJ offers two different controller units: ETO2 and ETR2. The ETR2 controller operates on the basis of outdoor temperature, and is recommended for smaller applications, e.g. family houses. ETR2 controllers are easily installed and operated.

Frost protection and temperature maintenance for pipes
To prevent problems with frozen pipes, OJ recommends the ETI controller, which controls pipe temperature on the basis of sensor readings.
